Hi Edward,
If you have the Quandl exchange enabled on your Optuma account you can import manufacturing data from their platform.

They have a free database you can access called: ISM Institute for Supply Management which contains 25 indices:
The PMI Composite Index has data back to 1948 for example.
If you do not have Quandl but have access to these codes in a CSV format you can import those files into Optuma manually:
