Hi,

You can do this now (if I understand your request correctly).  When you draw a trend line on the chart, right click it, go to the Actions (running man icon) and you will see an Add Alert option.

This adds an alert to that trend line, and will trigger when the price crosses Above / Below that line.  If the data goes past the end of the Trend Line without crossing, the alert expires.
