Initial Stop Loss for Backtester

Hi I want to create a simple back test using the entry criteria of “MACD cross above signal” and exit criteria of “MACD cross over below signal” and I want to include a initial stop loss of 15% below the buy price how do I include the stop loss into the test, the AI has been no help

Hi Peter,

You can add the Stop Loss option to the Back Tester. For 15% use this from the open (which is used as entry price):

I think he is asking only for initial stop loss. The method you suggested will be valid throughout the trade.
