Hi, Why is yours not working? Im curious because i am also using interactive brokers for realtime data which works temporarily and then subsequently has a problem with yhe date icon going orange with either “cant find trader workstation”. I’ve gone through the workstation settings which seem correct based on the general set up instructions. Did you end up finding another data provider?

Hi Reuben. Yes, I did go through the setup process outlined. The data is icon I can get green, until I do any sort of scan, but I’m guessing that the data I’m subscribed to via IB is so limited that it only provides 100 lines of data. So perhaps that scans are too large if that makes sense… However, even if I open a single chart for example of Apple, and change the timeframe to anything lower than daily, 0 bars are displayed. Maybe I’m missing something?

Just to confirm, I am not referring to the setup process, but instead the Troubleshooting section outlined at the bottom of the article. Can you confirm that you have checked these steps?

Yes that’s correct, it is the desktop version or TWS, port 7497, and ive added optuma to my antivirus’ list of exclusions

How did you solve your problem? My IB data feed has been dodgy for weeks, and finally its not working today. Optuma gives me this message: “IB-TWS not found. For Optuma to access Interactive Brokers data. “Trader Workstation” must be running.”. Is this problem simmilar to yours?
