I note the Ascendant, Imum Coeli, Descendant & Midheaven are all points calculated within the Ephemeris Natal Chart under the Natal Houses.

Just checking if these calculated points are available to be referenced in any of the scripting functions at present?

Hi Andrew,

They would be available in the Natal Aspects function as planets. Note that they are incorrect in there in version 1.5 as all four use the same value (which ever one is calculated first). This is solved in Optuma 1.6

Hi Mathew - thanks for this, I’ll revisit the possibilities when 1.6 goes live.

Given that I can’t currently test the outputs and noting that the NA (Natal Transit) function appears to require the input of a specific date to calculate such points, do you envisage a separate function that searches a time period for celestial phenomena at one of these points being a possibility ie PA @ AC, example moon conjunct venus at the ascendant ? Not sure if these points could be options available within the PA tools for scripting in future ?

….or would I need to post this to the feature requests forum ?
