Analysis Cluster Shading

Hi Optuma team,

it would be of great help if it would be possible to have form the “Results” line in the tool Analysis Cluster a script function to create other scripts to colour or shade the chart.

In the following chart I colored the bars dark red when the “Results” lins was “2” or less and shaded the chart green when the “Results” line was “3” or more.

But to do this it was necessary to create a new ranking script with all my analysis I use in my “Analysis Cluster” tool and then created other scripts to color the bars and shade the charts using this ranking script.

In some way that made the tool “Analysis Cluster” unnecessary. The only benefit of the tool “Analysis Cluster” that was left was to display the true/false bars beneath the “Results” line.

But having a script function of the “Results” line would give the tool “Analysis Cluster” a real advantage to make further analysis or chart coloring with a script function of the “Results” line.

Hi Thomas,

It seems you answered your own question. You have a way of doing it and you can also use the Script Function to reference other scripts. The Analysis Cluster tool is for building a “weight of the evidence” style indicator where you want to see the components which lead to the final result.

There will be no referencing of the AC result in other scripts as that would be a massive project and you already have a solution.
