    Hi,

I’m running this script to create a list of ASX EFT’s with the settings below.

    MATCHFUNFIELD(FEED=MA, FIELD=Asset Class, FIELDVALUE=ETF)

    Optuma ETF Scan

As you can see it is a slow scan.

Am I doing it correctly or is there a better way?

    Thanks

    Tim

    Hi Tim,

I just ran the same scan here and it took around 41 seconds.  Do you have your ASX data connected to a live data source?  If so, please make sure that in Data – Exchanges – ASX Shares the EOD source is set to Optuma.

If that has no effect, try running the same scan in Optuma’s Offline mode.  I suspect the live data connection is slowing the process down somewhat but this would confirm whether or not that is the case.

Apart from that, I can’t see any adjustments you can make to the script to speed this up.

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have EOD source set to Optuma.

I was running some biggish scans trying out the ETF funds flow data and I think it was pushing the memory on my PC. Looks like I need an upgrade.

By the way the ETF funds flow data is an excellent addition to Optuma and I am looking forward to it being available on ASX ETF’s. Do you have a timeframe for this?

Hi, no ETA at this stage, we are still working on sourcing the required data.
