Was talking with a client today and was wondering if i can use the backtester and script in a minimum required dividend yield at purchase? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Josh,
The best way to check is to run a scan (or at least a Show Bar). If a scan works, then you can test on it.
The script function you will want to use is DataField and you must have the Fundamental data enabled for your exchange.
