Barriers

Hi Optuma team,

When setting the properties “Plot Style -> Shaded” and “Color Scheme” -> “Positive/Negative” I have TWO barriers.

But when I set the properties “Plot Style -> Shaded” and “Color Scheme” -> “Custom” I have only ONE barrier.

I want therefore recommend to add a second or even better a third barrier to the properties “Plot Style -> Shaded” and “Color Scheme” -> “Custom”

Here is a chart example:

In the example above the red circled areas should also be filled with the red color.

The most optimal solution would be to have for the properties “Plot Style -> Shaded” and “Color Scheme” -> “Custom” THREE barriers!!!

Having three barriers would make it possible to create an indicator with oversold and overbought areas filled in different colors and the area in between with another color.

Therefore I would like a second or even better a third barrier option like e.g. “Fill barrier below/above” to fill an area below or above a user defined area/barrier with a selected color.

Best wishes,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Just wanted to jump on here and say that you have some of the best looking Optuma charts. You have really figured out how to use the software in a brilliant way. Cheers…

Jeff

I just found this post as I’m struggling with this myself. I know its over a year old, any resolution?

Hi Edward,

I use v2.1 Beta Built 97 and in this version the above mentioned feature recommendation is not available.

But it seems the great Optuma team is currently working on a major new update and hopefully in this new update the “barrier” feature is available.

Best wishes,
Thomas

Hi Optuma Team

Just a reminder that my feature recommendation above is still on my wish list for a future update of Optuma.

Best wishes,
Thomas
