    Hi,

    currently it is not possible to change the color of the bar when a planet is retrograde using the tool “Planetary Retrograde”. The color is fixed by Optuma, the user can only change the “Tool Transparency” but not the color itself.

    I would therefore recommend that the user is able to change the color of the bar when a planet that is retrograde. I most tools there is color palette available from which a color can be chosen. It think it would therefore only necessary to implement in the tool “Planetary Retrograde” the color palette that is nearly everywhere available in Optuma tools and that would be it.

    Thanks,

    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

    Bar colours are controlled by the Colour Scheme property of the chart not the tool, and custom colours can be created using the scripting language. See here for more info:

    To change bars based on planetary retrograde motion use the RL() function and select the planet followed by ==1 (ie the condition is true). So for Jupiter:

    RL(PLANET1=[Jupiter])==1

    Capture

    Hi Darren,

    thank for your answer. It seems my description of the issue was not as clear as I thought. I don’t want change the color the bars or the price chart, I want change the color of the “bar” that is drawn using the tool “Planetary Retrograde”.

    I have attached the chart that hopefully made the issue clear.

    Thanks

    Thomas

    Ah – we refer to that shaded area as the Orb. To change the astro colours (planets, signs and aspects) click on the Settings menu and select Colours:

    Capture
