Can someone help me with technical analysis indicators and their default time periods?
I assume the individual indicator has evidence for their default time period, but is the tested evidence for a daily, weekly or monthly time period. Most of my readings on this subject is for daily. If I was trading weekly how can I convert the time period to weekly? Would I divide the default setting by 5 business days (1 week), and then test my hypothesis?
