    Good day,

I want to bring this up since no one mentioned it before.

The advantage of grid chart is to give a overall look to a group of securities by using specific script. In optuma, we have correlation and ratio grid charts. However, it would be more useful if we can create grid chart with custom scripts, such as RSI, BPB or even more sophiscated scripts.

What you guys think about this suggestion ?

    Have a good day ~

    Hi Yan,

The Pairs Grid Chart lets you define your own script for the calculation.  Have a look at this page https://help.optuma.com/kb/faq.php?id=947

    All the best

    Hi mathew,

    Thanks for your reply.

I just tried to use this to build a new watchlist.  With the following script, the optuma reported error and need to restart the program.

    a1=GETDATA(data1); b1=GETDATA(data2); v1=a1/b1; ma1=MA(v1,BARS=20, CALC=Close); t1=STD(v1, BARS=20); (v1-ma1)/t1

Is there any difference to use script here or the getdata function doesn’t work here ?

    Thanks.

I tried the script in the knowledge base, and the same result here, it’s either a blank page or error message…

    Hi Yan,

It worked for me but I’m running the next update which is due in June/July. Matt Humphreys mentioned that he is also seeing a bug in Optuma 1.6 so we will see what is happening and put out a fix. It will take a few days to get through the build process.

    All the best

Get it.  It has been a long time since the last time when i received an update. I was wondering if a big version is coming.  I wish that everything went well on your team side.  Thanks again for the great work you guys have done.  Have a good day ~~

    Hi Yan,

If you try the following formula without the GETDATA functions does it work?

This is what I get for the US sector ETFs:

    Capture

As Darren pointed out,  when i remove the Getdata function, the grid shows correctly finally.

Thank everyone for the contribution and have a good day.
