A stock I follow merged with another company into a new entity, and last Monday the code changed.
Now my past studies and market data till the change in code is no longer available.
I thought that the data that was downloaded still resides on the computer. But I might be wrong.
When you open a workbook that references a code that no longer exists it should open blank with a ‘Data Missing’ message in the title bar. Simply click on the chart and then start typing the new code and select it from the dropdown on the top left. Once selected, all your work should appear with the chart data.
