    Hi There,

I am not sure if there is already a tool in Optuma to measure angle (in degree) between 2 trendlines.

Is there a way, so far I was managing by duplicating a trend line to compare with past trends but actual angle measurement tool would be handy while documenting analysis.

    Hi Chintanbhai,

There is no tool like that in Optuma. I’ll add it to our list of features to review.

    All the best

Not sure if this is what you mean, but could you enable the trendline’s Show Angle property and manually compare them? In this example, the recent move in TSLA is 3 times steeper than from March (61° vs 20°).

To keep the geometric angles constant be sure to lock the time/price ratio in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

    Hi Darren,

Thanks for your reply, I was looking for a tool to quantify the trend intensity in terms of angle and to compare it with past trends and what you suggested surely helps.

    Many thanks,
    Chintan
