    Hi Darren,

    Thanks for the workbooks.

Can you clarify why the Code INES does not appear in any Optuma data.

It is a member of Australian Equities and is listed on the ASX.

I was under the impression that our data subscription includes all price data, for any and all equities that are listed on a particular exchange that we have subscribed to.

For info, when a symbol search for INES is performed on the Optuma website, the following result appears.

    Optuma Symbol Search

    Cheers,

    Peter

    Hi Darren,

I came across this topic after I was researching ETFs / ETPs listed on the ASX today.

Optuma does not have any data for the INES ETP (INTELLIGENT INVESTOR ETHICAL SHARE FUND (MANAGED FUND).

It has been trading in its present format since 12 June 2019.

How often does Optuma update and validate its symbol lists and exchanges for available stocks and commodities?

Who or what checks and/or validates Optuma’s data?

Thanks for all of your answers and support of us end users over the years,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

I’ve moved this to a new topic as it wasn’t related to the index membership thread.

I added INES to our database today which is why it appears in the website search, so will be available when you next log in to Optuma.

Sorry for the strange way using what appears as 2 posts to start this topic.
Something happened with my connection to the forum whilst editing.

Anyway, to continue what I was trying to say in the post with the pic of the symbol search result.

Is it possible that the data downloader used by Optuma is having an issue with the ASX ticker code “INES”?
This code appears to have been used in recent history by another company that was trading since 2007 in various forms, going broke several times.

For info, when a search is performed using Yahoo data, it returns the correct price and company data for INES, only going back to the first trade date of 13 June 2019.

    Regards,

    Peter

Thanks Peter. INES was previously used by the ASX, but that data has now been removed.  Open the chart and click Download History to fix.

    Thanks Darren.

That appears to have corrected any issues and it all looks as expected now.

    Cheers,

    Peter
