i am doing a multi column sort in descending order. Why i am not seeing The red highlighted in the first row as its the highest.

It looks like the column being sorted is the 12 month column, so that was selected first. Multi-column sorting is best used when one of the columns is a boolean true/false value, and the other is a discrete value. This example has the EMA column sorted first, and then the Change %:
