Hi guys,

I am trying to compare stocks with the index’s strength but the results are not always consistent. Pls what am I missing here?

var1= RIC(DATESEL=Last Quarter, ZEROBASED=True, INDEX=HSI:WI);
var1 > 0

Hi Marc,

Make sure that the RIC tool on the chart is set to Last Quarter to match the scan criteria.

Another way to compare relative strength is to use RIC in a watchlist column. This shows CITIC outperforming $HSI by 48.56% over the last quarter, vs 6.15% for China Mobile:
