is there any way to use Optuma and search for shares listed in say...
cannabis, marijuana or ‘pot’.
is there a tool that can search, perhaps company details to and compile a list, semi automatically, that updates when shares are added or taken from this list?
ie,
abc company now deals in cannabis then, list updates.

As there’s no specific sector classification for these codes there is currently no way to do what you have described automatically. The best way to setup a list would be to use the Symbol List manager:

If you are able to find a source listing all the stocks in a CSV, this can be used to setup a new Symbol list. Anytime the CSV is adjusted (codes added or removed) any Watchlist or scan using the symbol list will update automatically.
