CMT Level II 2025 Curriculum from Uworld not updated

I have just subscribed to the CMT level II course after passing my Level I exam in December of 2024.

I have realized that the CMT association now includes the CMT Curriculum via their website in digital format. I went to the Uworld website to order the Level II books and they are still based on the 2024 Curriculum and state the following:

Content may differ from the new 2025 CMT curriculum, now published via the CMT Association. UWorld offers the 2024 curriculum valid for previous June and December exam cycles.

I am not sure whether I should buy the Uworld books and how I should prepare for the level II.

Thank you for any feedback

Hello,

I also thought about buying the physical book because I prefer the traditional way however the program has undergone changes and the digital format will have fully the content needed to study and pass the exam.

If you order the book some of the content won’t be evaluated and on the other hand the new content will be missing. So the digital format is the correct method to study and be prepared.

Best regards.

Hello Andre,

Yes, thats what I thought as well. I guess the digital CMT format will have to do. I am not to excited about having to read/study off of a screen as I much prefer a book that I can carry anywhere in my backpack.

I also noted the CMT format is not formatted for PDF printouts. If anyone knows of a way to get a hardcover book of the curriculum I would highly appreciate it.

Thank you

Hello,

Exactly the same feeling! I hope they start selling a physical book or allow us to print it. It have much more benefits than online from my point of view.

Hi André and Bernhard,

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE WILEY/UWORLD TEXT BOOKS

The material is vastly different and the old text books will provide next to no value to you. It is unbelievable to me that they are trying to shill those books. Please steer clear of those as the text material from the CMTA is now free.

Unfortunately, I do not know if the CMTA has plans on providing the content in a single long-form PDF file that can be printed. If this is something you are interested in, it might be worth reaching out to them directly to see if that is something they are willing to share.

Thank you,
Reuben

Hi all…
I have also cleared My level 1 exams.
Can we buy book without enrolling for exams.
I am not sure of giving exams in June or december but would like to have content atleast with me to start preparing.

Hi Kinjal,

I am not 100% sure on this so you are best to reach out to the CMTA. I have a feeling you may not be able to as I think access to the book system would be tied to registration. However, it doesn’t hurt to reach out and ask them.
