DAX ETF Holdings

Hi,

A quick question, “Is there an ETF on the German DAX to get the weights of the members of the DAX, like you can use the SPY ETF to get the weights of the members of the SPX?”

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Actually there is an ETF providentially named DAX that tracks the DAX and trades on the US market.

Try this.

https://etfdb.com/etf/DAX/#holdings

Or try ETF EWG. It is close to the DAX (I think).

It actually tracks MSCI Germany Index and it isn’t exactly the same as the DAX.

But the following link may be of assistance.

https://www.etf.com/EWG

Hope this helps,

Bill

Hi Bill,

Thank you very much for your efforts.

Since I live in Germany, I found an ETF that is traded on the German Stock Exchange in EUR.

I use the ETF iShares Core DAX UCITS ETF (DE) to get the weights of the DAX, the Optuma code is EXS1 for the EUR currency.

Here are two links to this ETF:
https://www.justetf.com/en/etf-profile.html?isin=DE0005933931
and
https://www.ishares.com/de/privatanleger/de/produkte/251464/

Unfortunately the website of the last link is only available in German.

Thanks,
Thomas
