I can’t see that this has previously been mentioned on the forum.
Under the large list of available choices for headings in a watchlist there is “Industry” but it surprises me that not available is “GICS1 status” AIChat informs me that it is available by importing Bloomfield data at cost, which is not very attractive to me.
Is there any possibility that this can be added to the list of available watchlist headings some time in the next little while?

Outside of Bloomberg, we only have GICS indices at this time (see the GICS Sector Indices workbook here).
However, we do have the Sector and Industry data for US and ASX stocks included in our Fundamental Data, but this uses the Factset Business Industry Classification System, not GICS.
To add it to your watchlist add a new column and filter for Sector in the search box, and add the Sector Name field listed in the Fundamental Field section:
Just to add to this. We are in a major transition to S&P as our primary data wholesaler. As part of that deal, we will be getting GICS for all four levels.
It’s terrible timing - because we have so much other work in the pipeline - but it is something that I am keen to get incorporated before the end of the year.
