HOW do i load DEC gold 2020 into Optuma

this is my first day start using the DTN iqfeed data on the software, how do i bring up the live data of DEC 2020 gold contract into the software

which symbol should i put, definitely not XAUUSD

Hi Qinghua,

If you have mapped the NYMEX exchange to IQFeed during the configuration process then you can open our symbol GCSpot for the continuous contract, which will use data for the current contract from IQFeed. If not, add their continuous symbol for Gold which is QGC#. See here for how to add IQFeed symbols to your copy of Optuma:

If you just want the individual contract you can add the IQFeed symbol which is QGCZ20 for December 2020.
