When the Default Period Type is set to Day shouldn’t the alert be based on the end of day value instead of throughout the day? I can’t find an explanation for Default Period Type other than the default is Day. That’s not very helpful. Thanks.
When using realtime data the daily bar will update during the day, so the signal will trigger when the condition has been met.
For end of day alerts it’s probably better to run a scan after the market close rather than have realtime alerts.
