If it is possible, can we please have the ability at the settings level to choose whether we want the Journal to default to open or closed? Currently it always defaults to open and there is no way to change that.
I have multiple charts on multiple watchlists. Every morning when I open Optuma the first thing I have to do is initialize each page so it can load, then grab the tiny notes tab and close each journal, which is 30 + times across all of my charts. If optuma crashes, I have to do that all over again. I can’t disable journals completely because the Journal Status is the only way that I have to keep track of my open positions in my watchlists. (I don’t actually write notes in the journal, I just change the journal status when I open or close a position.)
Another area that could be improved is that often just clicking on the journal bar often does not always cause it to close, meaning that the majority of the time I have to grab it by left clicking and dragging it closed, which isn’t very efficient when doing it multiple times. I would love an easy single click on a big button on the journal, or a button up in my toolbar that would open/close all journals on the page. Even better yet, I would love an easier way to keep track of my open positions in a watchlist without even using the journal.
