Rondinone Charts using Volume

Hi Guys,

I see from the KnowledgeBase article on the Rondinone Chart that the formula can be change using OHLC, but I would like to be able to set the bar width based on the bar volume. I tried entering the formula “Volume/Average Volume”, eg Volume/25000 or Volume/50000, but that didn’t have the desired effect☹

Can this tool be modified to implement my desired volume based formula easily?

Hi,

Rondinone chart uses Expressions rather than scripts (like the Time Price Measure tool).

You can use Volume as an expression.

This sets the width of each bar so that the wider it is, the higher the volume value.

Thanks Matthew,

It would be great if the Rondinone chart candle had properties for setting:

  • the candle box line thickness, and
  • the fill colour of the candle.
