I haven’t used the platform since May this year. On updating existing workbooks find they won’t save when I shut down. Can anyone help??

Hi Greg,
A few things to try:
Open Optuma in admin mode by right clicking on the Optuma Desktop Shortcut and selecting Run as Administrator from the menu.
If you had OneDrive setup, and have paused the sync or removed the OneDrive app, it could potentially have locked the folders where workbooks are stored. Try reinstalling the app or restarting the sync and see if it makes any difference.
If that does not work, when you save the workbook do you see any error messages appearing on the bottom left corner of the screen?
Error message as follows:
error saving workbooks to. c:\users\silve\documents\optuma\local\workbooks SMSF current holdings. owb
Are you able to manually save new workbooks there? How about outside of Optuma, can you save a file to that exact folder location using Windows File Explorer, or does it show a read / write error as well?
If that is all working fine, please send a copy of the workbook to [email protected] for review.
