W D Gann in some of his lessons discussed the movement of prices, explaining the time it takes for a price to move is related to the squares of numbers (or the square root of the price). For example, the time it takes for a stock at $25 to advance to $36 (5² to 6²) is about the same as it would take one at $144 to move to $169 (12² to 13²).
Incidentally, I’ve never heard of Gann discussing logarithmic movement of prices, but logarithmic price scale functionality is provided in Optuma.
So how about providing a price scale option that follows the squares of numbers, ie 1², 2², 3², 4² and so on.
