Symbol List from CSV File

Dear Team,

I create a Sector scan by the scanning manager (Russell 3000).
When i save it to csv file and upload became a watch list, the ticker SNX will read as australia stock.
Please help to solve the problem. Thank you.

Hi,

When multiple matching codes are found, the first code in the list is used, in this case the ASX version.

To force the selection of the US version you need to edit the CSV file so the entry for SNX has a reference to the US exchange (ie SNX:US). This will force Optuma to select the US version of the code.

Hi Donald,

Yesterday we updated our sector and industry structure in the software so now you can scan on the exchange groups without having to create a symbol list.

Under Codes to Scan select Exchanges > US Equities and expand the required sector, eg Business Services and select Distribution Services.

Alternatively, if you just want those in the Russell 3000, open a watchlist and add the Sector Name (or Industry Name) column. Group by Column and collapse the groups, and then you can save each group as a Manual List by clicking the Open List As icon:

Dear Darren,

Please also consider make the same thing on Japan Exchange - sector and industry structure.
Appreciate all of your efforts.
