Hi

Is there any way to apply a new template to a watchlist with many codes in it without having to retype all the codes each time?

Sure - you can save the existing watchlist as a Manual Symbol List:

Once created, open a watchlist linked to your symbol list and add the columns required or previously saved Watchlist Layout:
